Worship

Too often  “Praise and Worship” is thought of as something that is only to be done at church and when we leave, it’s left there.  We want to learn to incorporate “Praise and Worship” into a lifestyle that no matter where we are- home, work, school, anywhere – we remember… HIs presence goes with us.

The English word “worship” comes from two Old English words: weoth, which means “worth”, and scipe or ship, which means quality. Therefore, when we “worship” we find “worthship”, meaning we attribute worth or quality.  Praise means to commend, to applaud, or magnify.  The Bible says in Psalms 22:3 that God inhabits the praises of His people, and in Psalms 66:4 “All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name. Selah”

It is our desire to create: An atomosphere of “Praise and Worship” that the one true and living God would be pleased to dwell in. A place where God’s power and presence is welcome and able to move and operate freely. A place that allows us the chance to encounter Him and leave changed regardless of what circumstances surround our lives.

We hope that you will come join us at our next service!
